HENRY COUNTY, VA – A woman who had been missing since July was found dead Sunday in a crash.
Sheriff Lane Perry told BTW21 News that a car was discovered over an embankment in the Chestnut Knob area of Henry County.
58-year-old Jeneen Lavita Jamison Valentine's body was discovered inside the vehicle.
Perry said the body will be taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke for an autopsy and positive identification.
Virginia State Police is investigating the wreck.

HENRY COUNTY, VA – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a woman that has been missing for over a month.
58-year-old Jeneen Lavita Jamison Valentine, of Ridgeway, was reported missing on July 16 by a family member.
She was last seen at a residence on Willow Court on the evening of July 3, according to the sheriff's office.
Valentine is an African American female, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and 160 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes.
The sheriff's office says she may be traveling in a 2002 silver, Toyota Solara, 2 door coupe with Virginia license plate number, VC-3019.
It is unknown at this time if Valentine is in danger, investigators say.
Her whereabouts are sought to check her wellbeing.
Anyone having information regarding the whereabouts of Jeneen Lavita Valentine is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 276-638-8751, call 9-1-1, or the Crimestoppers Program at276-632-7463. The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2,500.00 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
