LAUREL PARK – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is searching for armed robbery suspect in Laurel Park. Wednesday shortly after 8 PM, a Black male wearing blue jeans and a gray hoodie entered and robbed a local business. According to the Martinsville-Henry County 911 Center, the individual was carrying a long gun during the robbery. Martinsville Police officers arrived at the 6200 block of AL Philpott Highway and found the back door open. The sheriff’s office responded along with a K-9 unit. Henry County Deputies continue to search the area. The incident was captured on surveillance cameras.
