Sheriff's Office: Three wanted after metal brake stolen in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY – The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is searching for three people after they were identified as being suspects in a theft. According to the Sheriff's Office, a metal brake, which is used for bending and shaping, was stolen on March 31. The metal brake was stolen from Donald B. Jones & Son Building Contractor which is located at 13699 Booker T. Washington Highway.

Authorities say the suspects are described as two Caucasian men driving a black Ford Focus with license plate XTB 7171. The vehicle is registered to Dana Bramlett.

Monday, the metal brake was located at Bramlett's residence on the 1500 block of Breezy Hill Drive in Vinton.

Devin Elkins, David Mullins and Dana Bramlett are wanted for questioning in connection to the theft. Anyone with information is asked to call Franklin County Investigator Steve McFarling at 540-493-1667 or 540-483-3000.



The black Ford Focus authorities say was used in the theft.
