Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Information on Missing Registered Sex Offender

Reidsville, NC — The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the whereabouts of 70-year-old Hung Van Le, a registered sex offender who has failed to report and verify his current address as required by law.
Authorities are seeking the public's help in locating him.
Hung Van Le is listed as wanted in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) with full extradition, meaning he could be apprehended and returned to Rockingham County if found outside of North Carolina.
He is described as an Asian male, standing 5’4” tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The last known address for Le was 1723 S. Scales St. in Reidsville, NC. It is believed that he may have since moved, and authorities are concerned for his whereabouts.
The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who may have seen Hung Van Le or has any information about his location to come forward.
