Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office Searching for Wanted Sex Offender

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. – The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted man who has absconded from supervision and faces multiple felony charges.
Deputies said 41-year-old Paul Edward Russell is wanted for Felony Failing to Register as a Sex Offender and Felony Failure to Report a New Address as a Sex Offender.
Russell is also wanted by the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction for Felony Parole Violation.
Authorities confirmed he has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as wanted with full extradition.
Russell is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
His last known address was 713 Worsham Mill Road in Ruffin, North Carolina.
