ROANOKE, Va. (BTW21) – The Roanoke Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred Friday night, March 28, 2025, which resulted in the death of one man.
Officers responded to a call about the shooting around 8:45 p.m. in the 700 block of 29th Street NW.
Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Despite efforts to save him, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
At this time, the identity of the victim has not been released, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
