On August 23, 2024, around 8 p.m., the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office responded to a fire at 191 Trantham Rd., Reidsville, N.C., following a reported disturbance at the address.
After collaborating with the Rockingham County Fire Marshal's Office and Safe Labs Forensic Laboratory Services, investigators concluded that the fire was intentionally set.
As a result, JONAS ALLEN STRICTLAND, 42, of 191 Trantham Rd., Reidsville, N.C., has been charged with Second Degree Arson.
He has been arrested and is being held without bond at the Rockingham County Detention Facility.
