Public identifies of Martinsville credit card fraud suspect

MARTINSVILLE – Martinsville City Police thanks media and public for its help. Thanks to the help of the media and the large public response, the person in the video from yesterday’s release has been identified. Due to circumstances involving the case, no further information will be released on the matter. However, we wanted to thank the public for their assistance in quickly bringing a resolution to this matter.


MARTINSVILLE – The Martinsville Police Department is investigating a credit card fraud that occurred on May 29, 2018. We are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the female suspect shown in the attached video. The suspect appears to be a thin white female entering a local business.

The Martinsville Police Department asks that anyone with information about this case to please contact, Sgt. R. L. Ratcliffe at (276) 403-5331 or (276) 226-0218. Those wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (276) 632- CRIME (7463). Information that leads to the arrest and conviction of suspect(s) in this case could receive a reward of up to $2,500.00.
