Police searching man suspected of taking $5k worth of merchandise from Walmart

ROCKY MOUNT – The Rocky Mount Police Department is searching for a man who they say is suspected of taking about $5,000 worth of merchandise from Walmart.

The police department said the suspect entered the store on January 30 at around 4 a.m. and left driving away what they believe may be a mid-2000s blue Saturn SUV.

Police said the man appears to be African American, approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall with a weigh of 210 pounds.
