MARTINSVILLE, VA – The Martinsville Police Department is searching for two suspects in connection to a robbery early Thursday morning.
The incident happened at Neighborhood Market on Memorial Boulevard at around 12 a.m.
According to police, two African-American men approached an employee who was in the process of closing up with a firearm and demanded money.
Police say the men, wearing dark clothing and masks, fled on foot after emptying the cash register.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office assisted city police.

Information that leads to the arrest and conviction of suspects in this case could receive a reward of up to $2,500.
