Virginia State Police are currently investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred on Friday at 3:48 p.m.
The incident took place on Original Henry Road near Bellwood Road in Henry County.
The crash involved a 1996 Honda Civic traveling east on Original Henry Road, which crossed the center-line and collided head-on with a Chevrolet 2500.
The driver of the Honda, identified as Jonathan Lee Adkins, 46, from Ferrum, was not wearing his seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
In response to the incident, the Virginia State Police Crash Reconstruction Team was called to assist with the investigation.
The crash remains under investigation.
