Pickup Truck Runs Off Riverside Drive in Bassett

BASSETT, Va. — Emergency crews responded Wednesday night after a pickup truck ran off Riverside Drive near Mary Hunter Drive in Bassett.
The truck came to rest along the edge of the Smith River. No injuries were reported.
The Bassett Volunteer Fire Department and Virginia State Police responded to the scene. The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been released.
