Perry named principal, Dixon named assistant principal at FC Middle School

HENRY COUNTY, VA – Hope Perry was named principal and Crystal Dixon was named assistant principal at Fieldale-Collinsville Middle School.

Perry, who currently serves as assistant principal at the middle school, has served students in Henry County Public Schools as an administrator, curriculum coordinator, and teacher.

“In this very unique and exciting time in education, I am excited to encourage and empower teachers to meet their students where they are academically. I am also thrilled to motivate our awesome students to work harder than ever before to continue their paths upward and onward,” she said.

Dixon, who currently serves as assistant principal of Meadow View Elementary School, has served students in Henry County as an administrator, instructional coach, and teacher.

“I look forward to collaborating with students, staff, and families and building on the strengths that have been established. While nurturing the relationships I’ve already formed with former students, I am eager to create and build new relationships within the community,” she said.

The school board approved the superintendent’s recommendation to fill the administrative positions at their Thursday meeting.

“The enthusiasm and instructional leadership that Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Dixon bring to their roles will continue to propel FCMS students to exceed their learning goals. Their dedication to student success will ensure that the Cavalier family continues to flourish in unexpected ways,” said Superintendent Sandy Strayer.
