Park gazebo burned in suspected arson

PATRICK COUNTY, VA – The Patrick County Sheriff's Office is currently probing a disturbing incident of suspected arson that transpired at DeHart Park in Stuart.

The beloved gazebo at the park was engulfed in flames, reduced to ashes during the night between Sunday and Monday.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about this suspected crime to come forward and assist in the investigation.

To incentivize cooperation, a reward is being offered for tips leading to the apprehension of those responsible.

In a collaborative effort, an arson investigator from the Virginia State Police has been enlisted to support the ongoing investigation.
