Only three COVID-19 cases reported as drop continues in West Piedmont Health District

Only three positive COVID-19 cases were reported in West Piedmont Health District on Monday as the total number of reported daily cases continue to drop.

In Henry County, a woman in her 30s contracted the coronavirus, increasing the total in the county to 227 including 22 hospitalizations and three deaths.

Martinsville City now has 60 cases with seven hospitalized and one death after a female teen tested positive.

A woman in her 60s was Patrick County's reported case, bring the total to 39 cases including two hospitalizations and no deaths.

Franklin County's total is now at 50 with five hospitalizations and one death.
