HENRY COUNTY, VA – Campbell Court Elementary School has received a donation from Nelson Subaru to support teachers and students.

Campbell Court got the donation from Nelson Subaru through a larger Subaru of America, Inc. initiative called Subaru Loves Learning, a program to help further equity in education.

Teaming up with partner AdoptAClassroom.org, the elementary school and more than 600 schools across the country received funding to equip their classrooms with the resources necessary for students to learn and thrive in school.

Nationally, this partnership will benefit more than 114,000 students during the 2021/2022 school year.

As part of the initiative, which aims to help make learning accessible to as many children as possible, the Nelson Subaru donation will help support more than 115 students in grades preK-5.

“We are so honored to have the support of the community through donations such as this. The items each of the impacted classrooms will receive will help to encourage each student to learn in exciting ways,” said Campbell Court principal Kenya Gravely.

Teachers will be able to purchase the supplies, materials and tools their students need through the national non-profit, AdoptAClasroom.org.

These vital classroom resources are intended to enhance education and help Bassett students learn and succeed in school.
