HENRY COUNTY, VA – Virginia State Police says a man died in the hospital after being ejected from a vehicle in a crash on Friday.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at 12:47 a.m. on Elijah Circle, just south of October Way in Henry County.
According to state police, a 2017 GMC Yukon was traveling north on Elijah Circle, when it ran off the right side of the roadway at a high rate of speed and struck an embankment.
Police say the GMC overturned several times and ejected the driver, Roger Antoine Gravely, 38, of Martinsville.
Gravely was not wearing his seatbelt and was transported to SOVAH Health of Martinsville, where he later died of his injuries, police say.
This crash remains under investigation.
