HENRY COUNTY, VA – On Sunday, April 30, at around 9:53 pm, the Martinsville-Henry County Emergency 911 Center received a call that an individual had been stabbed at El Parral Restaurant, located at 670 Commonwealth Blvd.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they located the victim, Luis Cruz, 33, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Adrian Cruz, an employee of El Parrel, and another co-worker, Sipriano Bautista, 32, of Grand Lake Circle, Collinsville, got into a verbal argument in the kitchen area of the restaurant.

Luis Cruz was transported by rescue to SOVAH Health of Martinsville, where he received treatment for his injuries.
