COLLINSVILLE, VA – Authorities are searching for two suspects after an armed robbery in Collinsville.
The incident took place at Dollar General Market located on Virginia Avenue Thursday at 10:54 p.m.
Two suspects, both with a handgun, entered the store and demanded money from the clerks, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
After taking an undisclosed amount money, they fled on foot.
Investigators said the suspects were heavily clothed and that one of men was wearing a mask and gloves to conceal his identity.
Both men were described as being African-American, in their early 20s, and approximately 6'1'' to 6'2'' with a thin build.
Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 276-638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 276-632-7463. The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2,500 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.

COLLINSVILLE, VA – An investigation is underway after a robbery of the Dollar General Market on Virginia Avenue in Collinsville.
After shorlty before 11 p.m. on Thursday, two African-American males, one wearing all black and the other wearing camo, robbed employees at gunpoint.
Investigators believe it’s the same suspects who were involved in the robbery of Neighborhood Market that occurred Thursday at 12 a.m.
