Christopher Brian Seidle, 54, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 25, 2025, with his devoted wife by his side.

His passing marks the loss of a beloved husband, father, friend, and community member whose life was filled with passion, purpose, and love.

Born on April 19, 1971, to Ralph Evertty “Mike” Seidle Sr. and Judy Boswell Seidle, Christopher grew up with a deep-rooted sense of family, adventure, and a love for the outdoors, values he would carry with him throughout his life.

Christopher was the heart and soul behind Seidle Motorsports, where he turned his passion for performance vehicles and racing into a successful and fulfilling career.

To those who knew him, Christopher wasn’t just a businessman, he was a mentor, a craftsman, and a man whose eyes lit up whenever he talked shop or shared a laugh over a favorite project.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Christopher was a steadfast supporter of the Boy Scouts and cherished the peace and connection he found in nature.

Whether fishing by a quiet stream, hiking a wooded trail, or sitting around a campfire, he found joy in the simple moments and shared that joy freely with those around him.

But above all else, Christopher was a family man. He was a loyal, loving husband and a proud father whose children were his greatest pride. His quiet strength, warm spirit, and genuine kindness made him a pillar of support to those he loved.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep devotion. His memory will be cherished always by his beloved wife, Amy May Seidle; his children, Tyler Dustin Shively, Collin Reid McCambridge (Ali), and Parker Bryant Seidle; his brother, R.E. “Mike” Seidle III (Christi); his sister, Amy Leigh Seidle; and his nieces and nephews, Hunter Seidle, Nicholas Seidle, Abigail Seidle, Ashton Wiggington, and Emily Wiggington. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Andy Wiggington, and sister-in-law, Laurie Wiggington.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel.

A memorial service celebrating Christopher’s life will follow at 6:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Ken Horsley.

Those who wish to offer condolences may do so online at www.bassettfuneralservice.com.

Bassett Funeral Service is honored to serve the Seidle family during this time of remembrance.

Christopher’s love for life, his family, and the open road will never be forgotten.

His story is not just one of passion and accomplishment, but of heart, grace, and unwavering devotion.
