COLLINSVILLE, VA – The human remains found in a Collinsville home in June have been identified as a man that was reported missing in May.

On June 23, the sheriff's department in Henry County received a call of possible human remains that had been found.

Sheriff Wayne Davis said the Chief Medical Examiner's office positively identified the remains as Austin Lane Mabry, 30, of Jarrett Drive in Bassett, on July 12.

The preliminary autopsy results showed no apparent signs of foul play, according to Sheriff Davis.

The completed autopsy report is pending additional testing to determine the cause and manner of death.
