FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA – 8 years and still no answers.
The homicides of a Henry County couple remain unsolved.
On October 3, 2013, Ricky Dodson and his girlfriend Vicky Purdy disappeared.
The Franklin County's Sheriff's Office found a burnt vehicle in the 2000 block of Philpott Road in Franklin County near the Henry County line with Vicky's body inside on October 6.
She was found with a gunshot wound to the head, according to investigators.
On December 5, Dodson's body was located in a wooded area off of Johnson Hill Road in Franklin County.
Authorities say they need the people who know the truth to come forward to solve this double homicide.
