VILLA HEIGHTS – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at U.S. Cellular located at 820 Commonwealth Blvd., Martinsville, Virginia on September 23, 2019 at 11:00pm.
According to the victim who was cleaning the store at the time of the incident, two unknown black male subjects wearing masks and gloves forced their way in the front door of the business and held her at gunpoint.
While one subject held the victim at gunpoint the other subject went to the rear of the store.
The suspects were in the store approximately 2 minutes and were wearing all black clothing.
After taking a total of four iPhones, one iPad and the victim’s cell phone, the suspects fled the store and left the area in a rust colored compact car.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the individuals involved in this armed robbery.
Anyone having information regarding the identity and whereabouts of this individual is asked to contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 276-638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632-7463). The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2500.00 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.

Deputies responded to the cell phone store located at 820 Commonwealth Boulevard Monday at around 11:20 PM.
According the Martinsville-Henry County 911 Center, two masked individuals confronted a cleaning lady before stealing multiple cell phones.
