Henry County business owner has truck stolen, seeks public's help in finding it

HENRY COUNTY, VA – A Henry County business owner is asking for the public’s help in finding his pickup truck that was stolen.

The theft occurred early Saturday morning at Gleamers Auto Body & Paint, located at 6719 A. L. Philpott Highway.

The business's camera caught the theft and the video surveillance shows two individuals entering the business property from behind a storage unit located near Turner Ashby Road at around 4:30 a.m.

In the video, the individuals go back behind the storage unit before returning to the pickup truck and, about 36 minutes later, drive away with it in the direction of Turner Ashby Road.

The owner, Dennis James, says the truck is a two tone, orange and silver, 1988 Chevrolet 4x4 that has a snow plow hook up on the front.

James said he is offering a cash reward for the return of the truck.
