Governor Ralph Northam says he is considering a ban on vaping in Virginia.
This comes after many states have issued a ban on vaping following deaths linked to vaping.
"That's something we're looking at right now and I would say, expect an announcement from us in the near future," Northam said.
On Monday, Nebraska's first death due to severe lung disease linked to vaping brought the nationwide total of deaths to 14.
Last week, The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that there were 805 cases of severe lung illnesses.
