Four Martinsville firefighters awarded for saving a life

MARTINSVILLE, VA – Four Martinsville firefighters were awarded for saving a life last year.

Martinsville Fire and EMS recognized the following personnel for receiving the Life Saving Award for their efforts in saving a life on May 17, 2019:

• Firefighter Micah Lackey

• Captain Tim Jamison

• Firefighter Billy Akers

• Lieutenant Todd Owen
