HENRY COUNTY – The heaviest rainfall is expected between 12:00AM and 2:00AM. VDOT is monitoring Virginia Ave North of Bassett Forks near Colonial Hill Drive where the road is nearly impassable. One report around midnight of a car floating on Virginia Ave. Bassett Forks is reported to be under 4-6” of water. Public Safety responded to Colonial Hill Apartments where residents reported 3ft. of water inside.
HCSO is responding to several vehicles under water. Fire and Rescue are evacuating residents on Blackberry Park Circle by boat.
