AXTON, VA – The Henry County Fire Marshal’s Office is searching for who set a home on fire in Axton early Sunday morning.
The Axton Volunteer Fire Department doused the blaze, which was called in at 2:43 a.m. for the home located at 64 Keep Hope Drive.
Fire Marshal Lisa Garrett told BTW21 News she determined the cause of the fire to be arson.
The Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Department and Henry County Department of Public Safety also responded.
This is an ongoing investigation.
