HENRY COUNTY, VA – Firefighters from multiple agencies battled a mobile home fire on Wednesday night in Henry County.
Emergency services were dispatched to the structure fire on Laketree Drive at 7:25 p.m.
The occupants were able to escape the blaze before firefighters arrived.
Henry County Fire Marshal Lisa Garrett tells BTW21 News the fire started in the kitchen and the cause was cooking.
Garrett said 4 people were displaced and were assisted by the American Red Cross.
Volunteer firefighters from Axton and Dyer's Store, the Axton Life Saving Crew, and the Henry County Department of Public Safety responded.
