Eden Police Arrest Local Teen Following 911 Hang-Up Call and Residence Search

May 21, 2025 – Eden, NC (BTW21) A routine 911 hang-up call led to a felony drug arrest last week, according to a press release from the Eden Police Department.
On Friday, May 16, 2025, officers responded to a 911 hang-up at a residence located at 617 Park Avenue. Upon arrival, Eden Police officers observed a verbal altercation between two individuals.
The situation was de-escalated without incident, but during conversations with those involved, officers developed probable cause that ultimately led to a search warrant for the residence.
As a result of the investigation, 19-year-old Dylan Brett Myers was arrested and charged with Felony Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, and Felony Aid and Abet.
Myers was transported to the Rockingham County Magistrate’s Office, where he received a $5,000 secured bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
The investigation remains ongoing.
