HENRY COUNTY, Va.
In a significant operation led by Sheriff Wayne Davis, local authorities executed a drug bust at a residence located at 571 Figsboro Road.
The operation took place on September 30, 2024, resulting in the apprehension of one individual.
Sheriff Davis reported that the investigation began several weeks ago, following tips from the community regarding suspicious activity at the property.
Working closely with narcotics agents, the sheriff’s department gathered intelligence that ultimately led to the execution of a search warrant.
Upon entering the residence, law enforcement officials discovered a substantial amount of illegal substances, including prescription narcotics, methamphetamines, and a powder substance that is suspected to be cocaine, along with various drug paraphernalia.
The individual apprehended at the scene is currently in custody and facing multiple charges related to drug possession and distribution.
Sheriff Davis emphasized the importance of community involvement in addressing drug-related issues. “We work diligently one thing we will never tolerate is the transportation and distribution of narcotics in this community."
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are looking into possible connections to larger drug trafficking operations.
