MARTINSVILLE, VA – Deep Blue Seafood has returned to Martinsville.
Douglas Hairston and his daughter, Tiffany Jones, have opened the seafood restaurant in the former Snow’s Sandwich Shop.
“People have really come out and supported us. Its been about 14 years since we've done this and I'm really surprised that the people coming out are a lot of my old customers. We used to be located on Fayette Street and now we here at 702 Memorial Boulevard,” Hairston said.
Deep Blue Seafood offers both prepared meals and fresh fish.
“We are going to do fresh seafood to order. If you come in by Friday and order your fresh seafood, we will have it for you the following Wednesday,” Hairston explained.
The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday though Thursday and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Deep Blue Seafood also has desserts.
“We've got homemade red velvet cake, lemon crunch cake, strawberry crunch cake and sweet potato pie,” Hairston added.
Because parking is limited, meals are for take-out only.
