Danville Police Recognize Second-Quarter Award Winners

DANVILLE, Va. — The Danville Police Department honored its second-quarter award recipients during a ceremony Thursday morning.
The department recognized officers, supervisors, professional staff members and juvenile detention employees for their service and contributions to the community.
Award recipients included:
April Officers of the Month: Officer David Guido Flores, Officer Josh Gorrera and Officer Hugh Wyatt
April Specialty Officer of the Month: Corporal Killian Nau
May Officer of the Month: Corporal Kelly Shackett
May Specialty Officer of the Month: Officer Logan Hoffman
June Officer of the Month: Officer Charles Setliff
June Specialty Officer of the Month: Corporal Sylvia Brooks
Professional Staff Member Award: JoLacy Williams
Community Guardian Award: Officer Josh Gorrera
Supervisor Award: Sergeant David Ferguson
The department also presented its second-quarter Juvenile Detention Awards. Richard Mills was named Employee of the Quarter, while Terrance Palmer received the Supervisor of the Quarter award.
The Danville Police Department congratulated each recipient for their dedication, professionalism and service.
