RIDGEWAY, VA – The COVID-19 testing site will open at the Martinsville Speedway on Wednesday, April 8 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for qualified individuals.

No individuals will be permitted into the testing site unless the documentation needed has been received.

The site will be operating on tiered scheduled throughout the week depending on the demand and the schedule will be announced weekly.

Testing will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The site will be located at the Martinsville Speedway, 340 Speedway Road in Ridgeway.

The site was chosen by a committee who felt it was ideal due to its proximity to highways and open-air settings that allows for social distancing.

It will be staffed by trained medical, public safety, and law enforcement personnel.
