With the threat of freezing temperatures and wintry precipitation Monday night, some school districts and businesses have announced closures or schedule chances.
The following will have delays:
Carlisle School: 2-hour delay
Happy Feet Early Learning and Child Center: Opening at 9 a.m.
SOVAH Wound Center of Martinsville: Opening 2-hours late
Martinsville Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court: Opening at 10 a.m.
Bassett Physical Therapy: Opening at 9 a.m.
DMV of Rocky Mount: 2-hour delay
The following will be closed:
Patrick County Public Schools
Franklin County Public Schools
Henry County Public Schools
Martinsville City Public Schools
Patrick & Henry Community College
Kids Clubhouse Learning Center of Rocky Mount
Blue Ridge Christian Academy - Rocky Mount
Horizons - Martinsville
Horizons - Franklin County
Mosaic Pediatric Therapy Private Day School in Rocky Mount will have a virtual day.
