AXTON, VA – Friday, Governor Ralph Northam ordered all K-12 schools in Virginia to close for two weeks in response to the coronavirus.
Public schools will close from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27 at a minimum.
Carlisle School officals said they will follow the mandate of the Governor.
During the closure, academic instruction will be delivered through assignment packets, Google Classroom and Canvas.
The school said teachers will be available during regular hours to answer questions, explain concepts, and to instruct.
Parents should consult their email for the full message from Head of School Gracie Agnew.
SAT testing on March 14, will continue as planned and students should report to the school by 7:45 a.m.
