Martinsville, VA – March 30, 2025 –(BTW21) A shooting on Blue Spruce Drive in Martinsville is under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office after deputies responded to a reported incident at approximately 9:30 p.m. on March 30.
According to initial reports, a male subject entered a homeowner's property on the 100 block of Blue Spruce Drive, which led to an altercation.
During the incident, the individual was shot. Deputies arrived at the scene shortly afterward and provided first aid to the victim until emergency medical services arrived.
The injured individual was then airlifted to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
