Bassett man found dead on Friday

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NC – A 45-year-old man's body was found in Reidsville on Friday.

At around 1 p.m., the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office says deputies located the deceased male in the area of N.C. 14 near Strawberry Road.

The man was later identified as Bradley Aaron Kaufman, of Bassett, Virginia.

Detectives say the cause of death is unknown at this time.
