Bassett ambulance involved in Collinsville crash

COLLINSVILLE, VA – An ambulance was involved in a crash while transporting a medical call victim on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened at the intersection of Daniels Creek Road and Kings Mountain Road between a Bassett Rescue Squad ambulance and a Ford pickup truck.

According to officials, no one was hurt in the crash.

We are told the ambulance was headed to the hospital with its emergency lights activated.

The Virginia State Police is investigating the incident.
