Authorities seek leads in Collinsville theft

COLLINSVILLE, VA – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect of a theft.


On Thursday, deputies were called to 4040 Virginia Avenue in Collinsville in reference to the theft.


A grey, enclosed trailer with about 18 rolls of copper wire valued at $50,000 was stolen, according to authorities.


Surveillance cameras captured a white pickup truck involved in the larceny.


Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 276-638-8751 or the Crimestoppers program at 276-632-7463.


Crimestoppers offers rewards up to $2,500 for information related to crime.


The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
