Authorities Searching for Suspect After Bedford County Store Burglary

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (BTW21) — The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a late-night burglary at a local convenience store.
Deputies responded to an audible alarm at the Diamond Hill General Store around 11:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered the front door glass had been smashed with a brick. Deputies entered the store to investigate and determined that a burglary had taken place.
Security footage from the store captured a male suspect wearing a black hoodie with the words “Game Over” printed on it, along with jeans and bright yellow shoes.
Authorities say the suspect appeared to have stolen vape products before fleeing the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to come forward.
