RIDGEWAY, VA – No one was injured after a fight broke out at a Henry County elementary school on Friday night.
At 7:32 p.m., the Henry County Sheriff's Office was called to Drewry Mason Elementary School for a fight on the basketball court.
Henry County Public Schools Director of Communications Monica Hatchett told BTW21 News that Henry County Parks and Recreation was using their building for games for the night.
Parents at the game did not agree with the calls being made by the referees and got into a fight, according to Captain Wayne Davis of the sheriff's office.
The fight only involved parents and no one wanted to file charges, Davis said.
