AIRLIFT RESPONDS TO MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT

HENRY COUNTY, Va. — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital following an early-morning crash Monday in Henry County.



Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 12:07 a.m. to the intersection of Blackberry Road and Stones Dairy Road for a reported motorcycle crash.



The Patrick-Henry Volunteer Fire Department, Henry County Department of Public Safety and Virginia State Police responded to the scene.



The injured motorcyclist was transported by an Air Life medical helicopter to a hospital for treatment. The person’s identity and current condition have not been released.



Virginia State Police are investigating the crash.
