FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA – A 65-year-old Franklin County man, who was reported missing, has been found dead.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Megan Patterson said James William “Bill” Gillispie, of Glade Hill, was found dead in an area nearby from where he left his residence.
According to Patterson, no foul play is suspected at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for you help in locating a missing man.
65-year-old James William “Bill” Gillispie was last seen leaving his residence on foot on Thursday at about 7 p.m. in the area of Colonial Turnpike in Glade Hill.
Gillispie is described as being a Caucasian male with a height of 5 feet and 9 inches and a weight between 130 and 150 pounds.
The sheriff’s office says he was last wearing blue jeans, black shoes, a Philadelphia Eagles hoodie, black leather jacket and a NASA face mask.
