44-year-old Bassett man arrested after drug bust

BASSETT, VA – A 44-year-old man has been arrested after a drug bust at his Bassett home.


On Tuesday morning, Henry County Sheriff’s Office says they executed a search warrant at 2451 Willie Craig Road and seized suspected meth, cocaine, marijuana and a large amount of cash.


When deputies entered the home, they say they found Dana Juan Reynolds actively trying to destroy narcotics.

Reynolds has been charged with the following and is being currently held in the Henry County Adult Detention Center without bond:

  • Possession with the intent to distribute cocaine after having two or more prior convictions in violation of 18.2-248

  • Possession with the intent to distribute meth after having two or more prior convictions in violation of 18.2-248

  • Possession with the intent to distribute marijuana more than one ounce less than five pounds in violation of 18.2-248.1

This incident remains under investigation and additional charges are anticipated, according to the sheriff's office.
