UPDATE: The highway opened back up at 3:04 p.m.

HENRY COUNTY, VA – The 220 Bypass at the Appalachian Drive exit is currently closed due to a two-vehicle crash.

According to Virginia State Police, a Hyundai sport utility vehicle rear-ended a Webster & Webster Fence & Guard Rail Ford box truck.

The Hyundai rolled over as a result of the impact.

Police say the Ford appears to have had its arrowboard on and crash cushion down before the crash.

The driver of the box truck was injured and transported to Sovah Health in Martinsville.
