HENRY COUNTY, VA – Voters in Martinsville and Henry County had two local races to weigh in on this year.
Voters in Martinsville City, had to fill two seats for city council.
The choices were incumbent Jennifer Bowles, incumbent Danny Turner, L.C. Jones and Aaron Rawls.
Henry County voters faced a choice between incumbent Sidney McClure and his opponent Champ Hardie the Ridgeway District seat on the School Board.
Jones and Rawls won in Martinsville.
Jones brought in 1,896 votes and Rawls had 1,901 votes to take a seat on council.
In Henry County, Hardie won the Ridgeway District seat with 2,271 votes.
