18-year-old arrested for shooting at car, injuring driver in Martinsville

MARTINSVILLE, VA – An 18-year-old has been arrested for shooting at car and injuring driver in Martinsville.


The shooting incident occurred Sunday at around 4:45 p.m. on Starling Avenue at the intersection of Wilson Street.


According to the Martinsville Police Department, Nyzah Antonio Bradley, of Village Street, shot at a blue Chevrolet Camaro, hitting the driver in the leg.


The driver was treated for the single gunshot wound at SOVAH Health and later released.


Police say Bradley turned himself into the police department on Tuesday.


He is charged with maliciously shoot at an occupied motor vehicle, discharge firearm in city limits, malicious wounding, use firearm in commission of a felony, and reckless handling of a firearm.


Nyzah Bradley is being held in Martinsville City Jail without bail.
