MARTINSVILLE, VA – Uptown Martinsville has announced the cancellation of Oktoberfest this year due to COVID-19
In March, the City of Martinsville cancelled all events until further notice.
“Due to COVID-19, the uncertainty of when government orders will be lifted, and to ensure the safety of vendors, citizens, and staff we are disheartened to announce the 2020 Oktoberfest event has been canceled,” Uptown Martinsville wrote on Facebook.
Next year's event will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 and will be sponsored by URW Community Federal Credit Union.
