MARTINSVILLE, VA – A driver who police say was likely having a medical emergency before crashing was not injured.
The Martinsville Police Department and Martinsville Fire and EMS responded to the scene of the accident shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday.
Officers say a man may have suffered a medical emergency before the Nissan Maxima he was continued south to the end of Third Street, went into a wooded area and hit a tree.
Police say the man refused medical treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
